As we writers do, we make plans to take over the world.

That’s a gentle way of saying we tend to dream big: we will write our Great American Novel, we will sell thousands of copies, and the movie studios will pound a path to our doors with the usual “rich and famous” contract.

Alas, Reality is a ruthless meanie. We struggle and write and edit and network and try to get someone’s attention in the vast and deep ocean called “Publishing.”

We are often disappointed. We send our babies (“books”) out of the nest, only to see them fall to obscurity to the hard, cold ground below.

But foolish people that we are, we dust off another idea and slog through the entire process all over again. Seriously, there are days I feel like Ralph Kramden looking for my next “get rich quick” schemes.

Never Give Up! Never Surrender!

In that spirit, I’ve launched a Patreon page for your consideration which I may use for the occasional podcast. More importantly, I will be posting the sequel to “Love and Death on I-80 West” to my Patreon. The title is a secret, but yes, the Adventures of Tucci live on!

I’m gathering everything up, but the Patreon page is now alive, I tell you! Alive!

Have a peek and feel free to shoot me your thoughts.

Engage!
