A Note from the Rurals

CC and I were chatting this morning about my segue into retirement, and it’s not going well because (as she perfectly described) I was a drone for forty years. I’m so used to being told what to do during the workday, I’m not acclimating well to this new reality of self-determination.

I will gain independent thought someday as I fritter away at the keyboard between K-dramas. For now, here’s a thousand words in an op-ed about a Nevada political train wreck that’s gained national attention.

The bio at the end says I’m a “full-time writer.” Looking forward to the day that becomes true.

(I’m tickled to share webpage space with this guy. It’s an honor, JR.)
