The Nevada Author Network is honored to welcome Angela Laverghetta, a Northern Nevada based fantasy author and developmental editor. A Nevada resident since 1993 and graduate of Western Nevada College, Angela has fallen in love with the forever blue sky and grand mountain vistas of the west. In fact, almost all her writings take place locally, including her debut modern fantasy novel The Buried Knight published in 2023, and its sequel, The Hidden Druid, published at the end of 2024.
A voracious reader as a child, Angela always knew she wanted to write books of her own, but it wasn’t until a dramatic life change in 2015 that she allowed herself to reclaim her dream. A dream that has stretched to encompass helping other young or beginning authors reach their dream with her developmental editing.
When not writing or editing, you can find her handling her zoo of many pets, reading her youngest son’s fanfiction, or curling up in a blanket with a mug of tea and a stack of four or five books in easy reach.
