Testing Livestreams
For New Year’s Eve, we decided to try livestreaming on YouTube, but didn’t really know what we were doing and didn’t think to research in advance. We’re calling the experience a successful failure since we learned that it’s not just a click and go process. We did manage to figure out what we needed and spent some time “on the air” despite the fact that no one joined us – or, if they did, they left before we figured out what we were doing. We’re not yet sure if we plan to try this experiment again any time soon. You can check out the recording to see how it went for yourself on YouTube.
We also decided to try a livestream on TikTok the same night, which worked out much better because the process was more straightforward. We even chatted with fellow local author Jacci Turner for a while! It was a lot of fun so we’ll probably do that again in the future so be sure to follow us over there. Daily Vlog
Throughout 2026, CC plans to publish a vlog post to her “The Life of a Writer – 2026” playlist on YouTube. These videos will document projects in progress, book releases, in-person events, and everything in between. Follow along at https://www.youtube.com/@authorcassidycarson and choose playlists.

The ongoing adventures of Sheriff Maggie Doane start with “A Sheriff in Nevada” with a fourth book planned for an October 2026 release. “#Passionrestored” starts the planned six-book Restless Spirits paranormal romance series with the second and third installments also scheduled for release in 2026. The Nevada Author Network (NAN) Podcast
This partnership between the Sierra Arts Foundation and Two Moore Books, LLC is a way to elevate the visibility of northern Nevada writers who are members of the Sierra Arts Literary Community. Works in Progress for 2026
CC’s Projects: Writing the second and third Restless Spirits (RS) books, as well as the historical Battle Born Bride (BBB). The current tentative release schedule is April for RS2, June for RS3, and October 31 for BBB.
JT’s Projects: The Finding Salvation (FS) novella compilation is scheduled for a March 17th release. More stories in the Serving Salvation universe are also in progress so stay tuned for updates.
