Award-Winning Podcast: “The CC & JT Amateur Hour”
At the 2024 Women in Podcasting Awards, “The CC & JT Amateur Hour” won the Best Authors and Books Podcast! According to the website for the awards: “The Women in Podcasting Awards are an international people’s choice style of awards event. Our mission is to elevate women’s voices globally and within the podcasting industry.” This is especially exciting for us since four hundred podcasts were nominated in thirty-eight categories. We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us. We’re humbled to have received this honor.
Our win also led to an interview on the Morning Break show at one of our local stations, KOLO TV Reno, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. More information about our appearance.
A “Sheriff” in the Wild
JT Hume’s books, A Sheriff in Nevada and A Sheriff in Nevada: Downfall are popping up in a variety of places now. These include the Sierra Arts Foundation Gallery Depot Bookstore in Sparks, Nevada; the Nevada State Library in Carson City, Nevada (lower left in below image); and the Churchill County Library in Fallon, Nevada.
A Sheriff in Nevada and JT were also highlighted on the Facebook page of the Sierra Arts Foundation.

Works in Progress
CC’s Projects: Two Nevada-themed romances are in the works for 2025. A paranormal set in Virginia City (the first of a six-book series) is currently in edits, while a historical set in Carson City is in the early draft phase.
JT’s Projects: His next release, “ZOEY,” is now being edited with the official release date yet to be determined. Serving Salvation Book 2 and three prequels in the same universe are also coming in 2025.
