With CC’s International podcast award, we found ourselves unprepared to take immediate advantage of the good news. We had to sit down and develop a press release on the fly. This led to entries in our local newspapers and a live appearance on KOLO TV in Reno, Nevada.

Why do you need a press release, you may ask, if all you’re doing is publishing an independent book to Amazon? Because that little extra bit of attention that you manufacture could go a long way in making your book more noticeable in the tsunami of books being released every day.
