Episode 200 of “The CC & JT Amateur Hour”
On December 1, 2024 we recorded the 200th episode of our award-winning podcast, where we took a fond look back over some of our most popular topics. These included Elmore Leonard’s “10 Rules for Good Writing,” Screenwriting, wrestling with creative control, and a discussion of our first recording location in the “Tower of Doom” (the office on the top floor of our house). The Amateur Hour continues to grow and evolve, and we hope you’ll follow along on our future adventures.
Nevada Talking Books
Copies of JT Hume’s books, A Sheriff in Nevada and A Sheriff in Nevada: Downfall have been donated to the Nevada Talking Books program within the Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records. After being recorded by volunteers within the program, they will become available to anyone who is a registered participant of the program. Nevada Talking Books Services (NTBS) is a free library service for Nevadans who are unable to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability. Floating Free Book Library
Our friends are taking a long trip on the Majestic Princess, a luxury passenger ship that’s part of the Princess Cruise Line. The ships have a free book library like you might find in your community, so a dozen of our books is aboard this beautiful vessel and will be going to places we’ve never seen. Exciting!

Works in Progress
CC’s Projects: The paranormal romance set in Virginia City will soon be going to beta readers with a target release date of mid-2025. A historical romance set in Carson City is in the early drafting phase and should be ready for release in late 2025.
JT’s Projects: “Zoey,” is in final edits with an official release date in early 2025. Serving Salvation Book 2 and the prequel Finding Salvation Part 1 are now in the editing phase and will also be out in 2025.
Coming Up in 2025
January is right around the corner, and so is the creation of our writing and publishing business Two Moore Books LLC. We have a lot of fun plans that are bubbling and brewing for 2025, so keep an eye on our websites!
