I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It took a while to warm up to the main character, but I liked her growth and how things turned out. The descriptions of the Nevada countryside, life on a dude ranch, small company-town, and the townsfolk were very well done. At times I could picture the sunrise and almost smell the hay. The story itself was interesting and if it continues in another book I will happily pick that up to read.
