Acclaimed Nevada Author J.T. Hume Debuts Defying Salvation, a Gripping New Science Fiction Thriller
CARSON CITY, Nev. — Carson City author JT Hume returns to the universe of his acclaimed Serving Salvation saga with the debut of Defying Salvation, a thought-provoking science fiction novel that explores survival, faith, artificial intelligence, and what it truly means to remain human.
Set after the events of Finding Salvation, the novel follows Michael Deveraux, the last surviving member of the planet’s most reviled family. Hunted after a devastating attack destroys his ranch, Michael is forced into an uneasy alliance with a lethal android programmed to protect him at any cost. As powerful political factions battle for control of humanity’s future, Michael must confront impossible choices that challenge his faith, morality, and capacity for love.

The novel expands the rich universe introduced in the bestselling Serving Salvation trilogy and its companion novel Finding Salvation. A special signing will be held at Bub’s Bookstore in Carson City on the same day at 5:30pm. The event is open to the public, and readers of all ages are invited to attend. Copies of Defying Salvation and a selection of Hume’s previous books will be available for purchase during the event.
