New Release
As they approach their golden wedding anniversary, Allison and David Manning have had their share of relationship highs and lows. They’ve also become more like caregiver and patient than lovers as Allison loses her hearing. When the couple agrees to film a new web series called “Haunt Season” with the Beyond Investigations team, their life together takes a turn for the surreal. David wonders whether Allison’s violent mood swings could be a side effect of her recent cochlear implant surgery, and David wonders whether he may be running out of time to save both his marriage and his wife.
#Hauntseason is the second installment of the “Restless Spirits” series. Like #Passionrestored, the book is now available across all platforms.

The sequel to the author’s successful novel “Finding Salvation,” rancher and former seminary student Michael Deveraux is the last scion of the planet’s most hated family, loathed from to their efforts to build and launch an Apocalypse Ship that rescues the world’s richest but leaves a devastated Earth behind. Michael’s struggles with faith, loss, and compassion gives this story emotional depth as he explores the blurred lines between keeping one’s humanity while living for the sake of survival.
We will be at Bub’s Bookstore at 110 South Curry Street in Carson City on Friday, July 24 at 5:30pm for the big book release party! Come by and wish JT a happy birthday, too!
Fun Stuff
Our mild-mannered alter egos, Bob and Liz Moore, are in the running for America’s Favorite Couple. The first round of voting from July 6th to July 16th, 2026 will determine who moves up to the top twenty. Couples are competing for a prize package that includes a photo shoot with Variety magazine, $20,000, and a double date with Jeff and Emilie Goldblum. Adults over eighteen years of age can cast one free vote each day, but can also cast more votes by donating. Proceeds go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana. We hope you’ll consider voting for us!

Works in Progress
CC’s Projects: The historical Battle Born Bride is in edits and on track for an October 31, 2026 release. Writing poetry for a YouTube Spooktober playlist with videos to be released throughout the month of October. Book three of the “Restless Spirits” series will be coming in either late 2026 or early 2027.
JT’s Projects: The next (mystery) book is with beta readers.
Joint Project: Co-writing another romance in the “Queens & Consorts” series which is the prequel to From Tundra to Tiara.
