Welcome to the Two Moore Books News. Our monthly newsletter provides updates on our works in progress, a roundup of the previous month’s podcasts, upcoming book releases, and details about any events we may be attending. Author Talk at the Churchill County Library

CC appeared at the Churchill County Library in Fallon, Nevada, on August 25th to discuss the romance of Nevada. The talk revolved mostly around the “Restless Spirits” series including #Passionrestored and #Hauntseason, but included a preview of the next Two Moore Books release, Battle Born Bride. A small but engaged group asked interesting questions and stuck around to chat and purchase books after the discussion ended.

Anyone who lives in the Fallon area can check out our books through the local library. They’ve just picked up copies of From Tundra to Tiara and the “Restless Spirits” books which aren’t yet on the shelves, but you can find some of JT’s titles there already, and e-book versions of our books can also be checked out from them. https://churchillcountylibrary.org/

The Nevada Appeal’s “Best of Carson City 2026”

Two Moore Books (TMB), LLC, placed first in the ‘Most Unique Business’ category in the Nevada Appeal’s 2026 Best of Carson City competition! We’re honored by this recognition and would like to thank all our local friends and neighbors who took the time to vote for us. 

TMB was founded during the pandemic by co-owners Cassidy Carson and JT Hume as a platform for their self-published books. The company has grown to include an award-winning weekly podcast dedicated to the craft of writing and the process of self-publishing, as well as a second podcast in collaboration with the Sierra Arts Foundation that highlights author members of the Sierra Arts Literary Community.

JT’s is on a Top Ten List

Bub’s Bookstore in Carson City released their list of “10 Best Selling Books in August 2026,” and JT has a place along national writers. Fantastic honor. Here’s the whole list. Thank you, Rob and Demi!

Speaking of Bub’s, we thank Rob for posting this picture of Don in the bookstore. He bought “A Sheriff in Nevada,” then he came back and bought the next two books. Look at that smile!

Joint Project:   Co-writing the second installment of the “Queens & Consorts” series as we prepare to record the audiobook version of the first book, From Tundra to Tiara.
